The Graduate Hotel Nashville – Girls Get-Away

A good friend of mine was recently married and before the wedding we had a girly get-away weekend in Nashville. Besides the fun and laughter and friendship one of my favorite things about the trip was our stay at the Graduate Hotel Nashville!

(Due to Covid not everything in the hotel may be open or they may be having to limit the number of customers so please check on things before you go!)

The Graduate Hotel Nashville

Every Graduate hotel has completely different decor and a completely different ambiance. I have been to The Graduate in Fayetteville Arkansas which is rustic and cabin-y with lots of red as a nod to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Decor of The Graduate Hotel Nashville

The Graduate Hotel Nashville took me by surprise. It was fun and funky, musically inspired and unabashedly feminine! The decor included lots of pinks and pastels and florals. We loved it! The ambiance of the Graduate Nashville is super fun. To make it even better there are allusions everywhere to the women of classic country music from Dolly Parton to Minnie Pearl.

The Lobby and Common Areas of the Hotel

Y’all, the lobby and the common areas of the hotel are so fun! You know from the minute you walk in that you are going to have a good time. Not only is there is color everywhere, but you will be surrounded by interesting touches.

There were moments when I thought, “hmmm, that shouldn’t go together.” Yet, somehow it all does! You will see a variety of mis-matched couches that still somehow look good all in a row. There are touches of pink, peach and green. Blue velour bucket chairs sit on patterned rugs…It is all just slightly over the top but in the best possible way.

The Rooms

Our room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. In addition the look of the room was, well, darling! But imagine that being said in the most southern accent possible. As in, “This room is just darlin’.” Pink and cream striped walls, images of female country music legends, floral canopy beds, gold mirrors, patterned rugs. All so pretty.

The Location of the Graduate hotel in Nashville.

You will be right in the heart of midtown, near Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Lipscomb universities as well as near lots of great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It is centrally located for a girls weekend get away, a bachelorette party, or just for sight-seeing.

Parking at the Graduate Hotel Nashville

Three girls on a weekend get-away at The Graduate Hotel Nashville. They are in a pink room wearing peach colored shirts that say Bachelorette.

Ok, let’s get real. Parking in Nashville is a PAIN. The graduate has valet parking and there is a pretty hefty charge but to us it was worth it. We drove to Nashville, used the valet parking, and then mostly used Uber to get around town.

Hotel Amenities

There are three places to get something to eat and drink at the Graduate Nashville.

  • The Poindexter is a cute coffee bar on the lobby level of the hotel. It was recently voted the best local coffee shop in Nashville so you will definitely want to check it out!
  • White Limozeen is the roof top bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. This is one of the most instagram-able restaurants in Nashville. Maybe in Tennessee! Pink and more pink with some touches of blue and yellow. We are talking lots of playful color and poolside skyline views. TIP: You will definitely want to make reservations!!!
  • Last but not least is Cross-Eyed Critters. This is a whimsical and quirky karaoke bar where you sing with animatronic critters. Have you ever been to country bear jamboree in Disney World? It’s like that, but with real people singing with the bears…and beer and cocktails.

Hotel Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is on the rooftop of the hotel along with the White Limozeen restaurant. It is outdoors so is only open during the warm weather season. TIP: There is a charge to use the pool so definitely ask about that if you are going to want to swim!

Final Thoughts

The girls and I had a great time at The Graduate Nashville and I can’t imagine a better place for a get-away in Nashville!
