The Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa is a Marriott Autograph collection property. It is located in Pointe Clear near the charming town of Fairhope, Alabama.
This is a waterfront hotel on an idyllic property with expansive lawns, lush gardens and gnarled live oak trees. The service is impeccable and will make you feel like a VIP from the moment you arrive.

Pursell Farms
One of the most delightful and romantic getaways in the south is Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama. This is a renowned golf resort with a variety of unique room selections.
You can stay in the Inn with its wonderful views of rolling hills or you can select a cottage or a cabin. There are also 2 homes from the 1830’s and 1850’s that have been impeccably restored.
The entire place is breathtaking. To add to the romantic atmosphere you can enjoy the luxurious spa or a delicious meal at one of the three restaurants.
Fort Conde Inn
The Fort Conde Inn in Mobile, Alabama is often found on lists of the most romantic hotels in the south. If you want to feel that you have stepped back in time then this historic hotel is the place to stay. It is truly one of a kind.
The Inn is comprised of several historic homes dating back to the early 1800’s. All of these are in a private enclave called the Fort Conde Village and have been restored with great respect for their architectural heritage.
Although you will be walking on cobblestone streets lit with gas lanterns you will be in the heart of modern downtown Mobile. The contrast is wonderful.
Arkansas
The Capital Hotel
The Capital Hotel in Little Rock is an absolute gem. It was often called the “front porch” of Little Rock due to its perfect downtown location.
The hotel made its debut in the 1870’s. Today you will find that this is an historic hotel that has added all the modern day luxuries and amenities while never sacrificing old-fashioned service, charm and character.

The W.C. Brown House was a former private mansion which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 16, 1986. It has recently been fully restored to its former glory and is now the cornerstone of this lovely inn.
The rooms at The Reserve at Hot Springs span three luxuriously historic buildings. Although it is located in the heart of the city the grounds are expansive and gorgeous. A gourmet 3 course breakfast is part of the experience here.
This inn is poised to become one of the premiere places to stay in Arkansas.
Florida
The Pearl Hotel
The Pearl Hotel is located in Rosemary Beach in the panhandle of Florida in an area known as 30A.
In my opinion some of the prettiest beaches in the US are those found along highway 30A and if you want a romantic getaway in this area The Pearl is the place to stay.
It is known for its old world style and its distinctive black and white striped awnings.
When you stay here you will have a stretch of private beach with complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas just steps away from your suite as well as a poolside spa and delicious restaurants both on site and nearby.
Little Palm Island Resort and Spa
Little Palm Island Resort and Spa in the Florida Keys may be the most romantic place to stay in the south…perhaps even in the US!
This is the only private island resort in the United States. Do you have dreams of being on a luxurious but secluded island with your partner? This is the place to do it! It is a dream come true.
