13 Amazing Places to go Glamping in Tennessee

Tennessee is a state with tons of outdoor activities. You can choose from white water rafting, to hiking, to flyfishing, to just relaxing in nature and so much more. We have found that glamping in Tennessee is one of the best ways to experience the beauty and excitement of this state.

You will find that most of the glamping in Tennessee is in the eastern part of the state. This is because of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which happens to be the most popular of America’s national parks.

For the purposes of this post I am including accommodations that are tents, truck tents, campers, or yurts. I think that these qualify as “glamping” in Tennessee!

Some of these places to go glamping in Tennessee are pretty posh! Some are complete with air-conditioning and bathrooms while others are much more basic.

They also come in a variety of price ranges but do be aware that many of the Tennessee glamping experiences don’t come cheap!

Be sure and check the fine print on each of these places to make sure that it fits your style!

Bonus Tennessee Glamping Idea

L’il Specks Adventure Company

Want to be able to take your glamping experience with you as you explore the mountains? How about a truck camper?

Y’all, we spent a weekend in this camper truck and it was probably one of the best things we have ever done. It definitely qualifies as “glamping” because the tent is SO easy to set up. In addition the bed is comfy, there is everything you need such as a propane grill, table and chairs, a refrigerator, and even a shower!

So, why is this a bonus?

I have to confess that Lil Specks Adventure Company is located in North Carolina which is why I’m including it as a “bonus.”

However, you can use it all through the Great Smoky Mountains on either the Tennessee or the North Carolina side.

It was a great experience!
